At this time, the PPAC only approves one training for candidates seeking certification as perinatal patient advocates. The Advocacy Training is co-hosted with Intentional Birth, our sister LLC, in the following locations:

Breakdown of Training
Two full days of training including:
- Role-playing sessions with seasoned patient advocates and L&D professionals
- Advocacy tools for the birth room and beyond
- Conflict-preventative prenatal systems and strategies
- Systems for training clients in advocacy and in values-based decision-making
- Foundations in hospital culture and policy, and legal rights
- Reference workbook and birth bag flashcards
- Connection with a visionary community of advocates
